The JPO and the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (ROSPATENT) agreed to expand the scope of the PPH pilot program from June 1, 2013. Work products from the other office that examiners use include positive results of the written opinion in the International Searching Authority, the written opinion of the International Preliminary Examining Authority or the international preliminary examination report issued within the framework of the PCT.
