The JPO and the Israel Patent Office (ILPO) agreed to expand the scope of the PPH pilot program from March 1, 2013. The work products from the other office that examiners make use of include positive results of the written opinion of the International Searching Authority, the written opinion of the International Preliminary Examining Authority or the international preliminary examination report issued within the framework of the PCT.
