In the final installment of our three-part series presenting advanced aspects of Japanese patent law that are not often discussed in English, we provide an holistic approach to protection of IoT inventions. Building on the concepts of the previous lecture, we present a stepwise analysis applicable to every IoT invention to ensure protection from multiple perspectives.
